MUAR, Sept 4 — Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has stressed that he would not want to be prime minister if the principles contained in the Federal Constitution, including the rights of the Malays and the position of Islam, were disputed.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 21 — Affirmative action policies should extend from race-based to need-based, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

SHAH ALAM, March 18 — The people, especially the Malays, should not be fooled any longer by leaders who claim to fight for their rights but at the same time go on to amass wealth, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said.
